Things like that. Keep in mind that most Sins rely on their powers, and less on weapons.) Equipment::: (Things like armor, backpacks, satchels, even fanny packs, and what is contained within them. Got rope? How 'bout caltrops?) Character HistoryThis section is for fleshing out the character, and determining why they are empowered by a certain Sin. Tell your character's story, so we can see just who he/she/it is. Birth::: (The things that happened that lead up to your birth, as well as information on anything important during it, like a freak lightning strike destroying the house mid-way.) Childhood::: (From Post-Birth until Teenage Years. If something here is important to why the character became a follower of a Sin, like being bullied as a kid turning him/her to Wrath, it should be listed here.) Teenage Years::: (The name explains it all. What happened to him/her during their teenage years, where hormones run rampant through the body of a human? Is this where he/she began to feel Lust's pull? Or perhaps Pride got the better of him.) Adulthood::: (21-30 years old. This portion of the character's life is where they awaken to the path of Sin and manifest their powers. A character must be at least 21 and less than 30 years old during the manifestation. Detail your character's fall into Sin, and how they handled it. Did they take it well? Did Lust turn them to debauchery, or did Pride lead them to become a lion in a world of ants? Or has Gluttony and Sloth lead to decadent lives enraptured by their respective traits?) Middle Age::: (This is the current time of the player, unless they want to play as an incredibly weak character, as it takes time to mature one's abilities. Optimal age to start playing is recommended to be at 40-years-old. Due to the Immortality effects of a Sin, they will still look rather young. Detail your character's life up until the 'now', where you begin playing as them. Do note: You cannot start a Sin at over the age of 60 without having proven your skill at RPing, or having permission from a moderator. If you are an experienced player who is good at RPing, you may ask a Mod, but a Sin of that age is too powerful to give someone new. God-modding would be ridiculously easy at that point, and that's not fair.) The code for the template is as follows: - Copy and Paste This Into Your Character Sheet:

With that cleared up, it's time to explain just what a Champion of Sin is. Fairly warned be ye, this will be Fey Elf levels of long. To start off with, there are seven classes of Sin, each corresponding with the Seven Cardinal/Deadly Sins. They are Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Pride, Gluttony, Greed and Lust. Each one has their own powers and abilities, as well as appearances (or lack-thereof), and being of a certain Sin means having a personality that must fit the sin. If you are Wrath, you must be destructive; if you are Sloth, you must be lazy; if you are Greed, you must be greedy. Basic things like that. An important part of this is Favor; Favor is the power gifted to you by your Patron, whoever he/she/it may be. You gain favor by being decadent in the ways dictated by your Sin. If you are Wrath, you gain strength by destroying things, wantonly spreading suffering, misery, and burning as much as you can to cinders. If you are Sloth, however, you gain strength by doing everything without actually doing anything, like by getting a lacky to set up a bomb and kill your target, or by disregarding what is important and lazing around instead. By acting in accordance of your Patron Sin, your Patron shall reward you with strength to feed your powers, allowing you to spread Their will even further in a growing cycle of power and decadence. In the following Spoiler are the Seven Sins and the information on them: - Seven Sins:
Wrath: In Wrath, there is rage. In all humans, a flame burns hot within their souls, but in the hearts of a Champion of Wrath, the flame burns hotter than any other. The Champions of Wrath exist to destroy and annihilate; through such things, they gain strength. Should a Champion disregard his want to destroy, deny it and live in peace, his strength fades and he is left weak and powerless, and upon loss of all Favor, a Champion of Wrath is sent to Hell for eternal punishment. The Champions of Wrath tend to have skills such as Pyromancy, known as IRA to the Champions, an aura that spreads discontent and anger in the hearts of those around them called RAGE, and some can even see how to destroy any object with but a look through DESTRUCTION. At peak power, a Champion of Wrath can create flames hot enough to melt diamonds in a matter of seconds, become temporarily invincible and strong beyond imagining through harnessed rage and hate, and see how to, with but a series of strikes, level an entire skyscraper. Those who follow the path of Wrath shall bring devastation to the Earth, and the world shall begin anew, purged with demonic flame. Average Height: 6'3"-6'9" Average Weight: 270 lbs - 360 lbs (All Raw Muscle) Sloth: In Sloth, there is contentment. In all humans exist a wish to be at rest, to sleep and never again awake. Mankind will always seek to be still, and to never have responsibility, for in rest there is bliss. The Champions of Sloth embody this, and seek not to destroy, but to simply exist, and continue existing. Through rest, be it sleeping or simply lying upon a field for hours, a Champion of Sloth gains strength. Such a Champion must sleep for at least 12 hours to maintain their power, or must otherwise serve their Patron, through shirking responsibilities, being at rest, and ordering others to do that which you do not wish to. Those of Sloth are thin in frame but are of perfect health, and even hold an extreme form of immortality. Through the power of INSURGENCE, upon death, a Champion of Sloth shall simply awaken 24 hours later in Barcelona, Spain, in room 666 of the Acedia Hotel, a hotel completely inaccessible to enemies of the Champions, and Champions of other Sins as well. The other guests of the hotel tend to have info on the supernatural that only demons such as themselves could have, and from them, much can be learned. Through the power of INDOLENCE, a Champion of Sloth may cause a sense of sluggishness and lethargy in humans and animals around him, and with enough Favor from your Patron, even objects come to a stop without reason; Newton's laws of motion mean nothing in the vicinity of a full-powered Champion of Sloth. It is even possible to nullify some powers of the other Champions; even Wrath's IRA could come to a rest. The final power of a Champion of Sloth is VALIUM, a power that returns your body to peak condition and your intellect jumps incredibly. This power can last for up to 6 days, but the longer it is active, the more Favor you lose and the weaker your powers will become. Should a Champion of Wrath run out of favor, they will fall asleep shortly thereafter, and they will simply not awaken. Those who follow the path of Sloth embrace existence as it is, and seek to simply rest until the dawn of a new world, where they shall rule.[/color] Average Height: 5'3" - 5'6" (Increase by 8" when using VALIUM) Average Weight: 80-100 lbs (Double weight when using VALIUM) Envy: In Envy, there is want. All humans seek to own that which is not theirs, that which they can not have. The beauty of another, the intelligence of another, the strength of another; these are the wants created by the jealousy that exists in the hearts of all Mankind. Champions of Envy have accepted this fact, that they are weak; that there are others infinitely better at everything than they are. A Champion of Envy accepts their weakness, the utter patheticness of a human's life, and takes what will make it better. If you are weak, take the strength from the strong and you, too, may be strong; thus is the mind of Envy. Such a Champion gains strength from taking that which they want, disregarding who may already own it, or through defeating a master at their own game. At first, simply winning an arm-wrestle with a local hot-shot would be enough, but soon enough you would have to defeat a chess grandmaster at his own game to earn more power, to earn the praise of the masses. Envy thrives on praise, after all, and as such you may not enter any 'private' competitions. You must seek the praise and approval of all of mankind and become the best in all things. This is the path of Envy; to wallow in endless praise, and gain strength from it. The powers of a Champion of Envy all revolve around taking from others what they have; the power of THEFT encompasses this well. Simply by holding onto a person for long enough, you can take from them their 'attributes'. You want someone's money? Grab him and don't let go, and you're rich. Jealous of that genius's mind? Take his mind, and leave him a husk as you excel once more. You can even take a person's appearance, leaving an unrecognizable cadaver and giving you a whole new look. Few humans can fight against these effects, but supernatural beings and other Champions are unfazed by THEFT. As a Champion of Envy, you also gain the power of MIMICRY. With this ability, you do not need to touch someone to gain their powers, but only watch them as they use it. Unlike THEFT, MIMICRY doesn't 'take' the ability, meaning that the person you watched still has it. However, as you have only seen it, rather than taking it, MIMICRY's effects are not permanent, and at most you can hold their powers for 24 hours. The final power of Envy is the power GIFT. With this, a Champion of Envy may pass a power they hold to another being, though it only lasts up to 3 days at most, and by doing so you lose both the power, and Favor from your patron. Any Champion of Envy would be loath to use such powers, but there are times where it is necessary. However, despite all these powers, you will still feel a deep pit of darkness within you, a loneliness that seems unquenchable. But, to fix it, you only need to copy more abilities, right? ...Right? Average Height: No Average (Due to THEFT, this changes with each new body) Average Weight: No Average (Due to THEFT, this changes with each new body) Pride: In Pride, there is control. The Original Sin has existed strongly in all of Mankind since the dawn of the ages as humans have shown their strength. More often than not, though, Pride turned to hubris, and hubris brought them to an end. In those blessed directly by Pride, however, hubris does not exist; there can be no excess in pride, for the Champions shall become Pride incarnate. They shall stand above all of Mankind like a wolf among pups, like a lion among ants. They are perfection, and they shall rule forever... If they defeat all opposition. Those who follow the path of Pride are given bodies of absolute perfection; not simply beautiful bodies, but ones as perfect as those of the ancient Greek Gods of Old. They are gifted with strength greater than an Olympic wrestler, and their mind is far beyond that of the average man. Through their bodies, they can feel the divine right to rule and preside over all mortals, gifted to them by their patron, and it is through their rule that they gain Favor from their patron. By ruling over the masses, a Champion of Pride gains more power; however, he is must flaunt his rule. The first power given to such a Champion is that of COMMAND. Gluttony: In Gluttony, there is power. Greed: In Greed, there is fortune. Lust: In Lust, there is ecstasy.
