Now that that is finished, I shall explain what a 'Fey Weapon' is, and what the Fey Classes are. On this site, Fey is the widely-used term for the Realm of the Wild. The creatures that live within it are also referred to as Fey. There are multiple species of Fey, but as they are all unintelligent beasts, the only class playable is the Fey Elf. The Fey Elves are magically inclined, and intelligent, beings from the Fey; The only ones, to my knowledge. The Fey Elves are divided into sub-sections, also known as Elven Classes, or Fey Class. Whichever. Here is a listing of the Classes used, and the basics for their power. Do note that I do not want you to list powers here! That is for the ability template, I simply want you to designate which Fey Class you want to be, so I can judge the character better. Here is the listing for Classes; Please read. - Elven Classes:
Forest Elves: Specializing in woodland magic, this class of Elves are most powerful in heavily forested areas. They can manipulate plant life to a certain extent, that extent being governed by their Fey Level, which will be explained in the Ability Template. (A lot of stuff seems to be explained by me...) These Elves are generally the most political, having a complete hierarchy, unlike other classes. Their villages, though they're more akin to towns, can be found deep in the forests of the Fey, as there are few places in Earth that could be inhabited by these creatures.
Oceanic Elves: This class of Fey Elves specialize in aquatic magic, but unlike the Waterborn Elves (Who will be described next,) these Elves specialize in oceanic based magiks. Salt water is far easier to manipulate for their kind than fresh water. While they are rather weak away from their homes, or the ocean, when there, they are one of the most powerful classes of Elves. These Elves are far less political then the Forest Elves, in that while they do have villages, there are no set 'leaders.' They all simply drift about together. They inhabit both the oceans of the Earth, as well as the Fey Oceans.
Waterborn Elves: This class specializes in fresh water manipulation; While similar to the Oceanic Elves, they can't manipulate salt water. They are the weakest of the Elves physically, but their magic more than makes up for it. They can manipulate not only the fresh water ponds, lakes, and even puddles, they are capable of manipulating the water in the air, as well as the temperature of it. This does not mean instantaneous freezing of a person or burning, however, in that it takes several moments to do it, and when only manipulating the water in the air, it is quite slow to freeze or heat up. These kinds of Elves usually carry supplies of water with them, for magic in the case of emergencies.
Shadow Fey: The Shadow Fey are a class of Fey Elves exiled from the Fey, and into the modern world. As the name suggests, they manipulate darkness. The Shadow Fey and the Sun Fey (Who are two separate classes) are the two strongest of the Fey, however, in their strength, they are both disliked by the other classes of Fey Elf. The Shadow Elf can manipulate darkness to an incredible extent, but out of all Fey, they are usually the easiest to spot, as well as the darkest minded. While all other Fey, other than Sun, are all completely human in appearance, other than the pointed ears, the Shadow Fey have black skin and purple eyes, and are usually mistaken for demons. The most defining feature of one is the tail; While not pointed like a demon's, it is pure black and drips with a incapacitating, though not lethal, poison. This can incapacitate an enemy for up to three minutes, and takes 30 seconds to fully kick in. It must pierce the skin to activate. The tail looks similar to a scorpion's, by the way.
Sun Fey: As with the Shadow Elves, this class was exiled from the Fey, to Earth. The Sun Fey can manipulate light, and focus it to cause damage. Usually, they wield this ability with LightStone weaponry, which will conduct the light into a sword that's blade is under the complete control of the wielder, or other Sun Fey. Any blessed weapon or ShadowStone weapon negates the controlling effect, however, and makes it just a normal sword that inflicts burn damage upon impact. This will be explained in more depth in the weapons section. In closing, this class's appearance does differ from the average. Their eyes are a gold shade, and their hair is always a golden blonde, and they, too, have a tail. This tail secretes the same poison as the Shadow Fey's but is golden in appearance, as well as shaped more like a monkey's tail.
Now that that is finished, let's move on to Elven Weaponry. Depending on your Class, your given a different Weapon. - Forest Weaponry:
Forest Elves are given Weapons laced with vines; These vines are under the control of the wielder. They are completely prehensile, if that's what you want. The weapon itself can vary; There are Vine Swords, Vine Whips, Vine Chakrams, pretty much any weapon. However, the 3 common weapons are as follow; Sword, Bow, Chakram. The Sword can use the vines that are laced into the sword as a way of attacking the enemy, even if they are locked in place. The Bow uses the vines as arrows, using foliage, such as parts of bushes and trees, to replace lost vines. The Chakram uses a thin vine to attach to the wielders arm, so even as they throw the weapon at their enemy, it returns. It can also be used as a grappling hook. And if you don't want a god damn grappling hook, then you suck. As with all Elves, you can choose your Weapon to be a Familiar. The Familiar is any creature that the character can think of, as long as they do not lie in another class's domain. Any forest creature is game, as well as unclaimed creatures (Claimed creatures will be in a spoiler). It can be summoned by the Elf at will, and serves as a companion and a assistant in battle, if you chose a creature than can fight. Familiars can be used for almost anything, as there are only a few creatures that are claimed.
- Oceanic/Waterborn Weaponry:
Oceanic Elves are given one of three Weapons; A gourd of salt water that rests on their back, a salted blade that uses magic to turn water it comes in contact to into salt water, or a pet Familiar. The gourd of salt water replenishes itself by 1/4 of it's holding capacity every hour, and can carry up to 15 gallons of salt water without weighing the holder down, and then more depending on how much weight the Elf can handle (Which is rarely very high, based on their low endurance). The salted blade not only turns water into salt water, but it also causes more pain than a normal blade when it slashes a person, due to the salt. It also allows you to have minor control over a part of the enemies body as long as your blade is embedded in that body part. This extends to slowing down blows, but not completely controlling a person. The Waterborn have pretty much the same choices. A blade of water, in this case you control it's shape and can use the spare water for magic. A gourd of water on their back, for magic. In this case, it's fresh water, not salt water. And a Familiar.
- Shadow/Sun Weaponry:
The first Weapon is a ShadowStone Weapon. And note, there should not be a space there, no matter what SpellCheck says. ShadowStone is a special type of stone that allows darkness-controlling demons and Shadow Fey to create the equivalent of a lightsaber, but black. It can be completely controlled at will, but any Fey or Blessed Weapons don't allow you to control it. Whenever ShadowStone touches a Fey Weapon, it locks down into a sword shape. It still burns and slashes, but you can turn it into a scythe at will. This extends to all Fey Weapons; The Forest Vines will not move when touching ShadowStone, the Oceanic Salt-Blade, the Waterborn Blade of Water, or LightStone, and vice versa. It would be way too hard to type out responses to things like that, like blocking a scythe with a sword, and then slashing with sickle, only to be blocked by a morning star's chain. It would be dreadfully hard to follow who's weapon is currently what. Also, a ShadowStone Weapon does not need to be a sword. If you want a ShadowStone Scythe, then it's locked in Scythe form when attacking Fey Weapons. It's simply a preference on what you would want to fight another Fey with. The second Weapon is a condensed energy blaster. IE, a gun. It focuses the user's energy and fires black bolts at the enemy. These bolts burn the enemy when they hit, and the target's location can be tracked for five seconds after being hit. So if you're hit, you need to wait five seconds before launching a surprise attack. And of course, the third Weapon is a Familiar. The Sun Fey have choices pretty much the exact same. The only differences are that the Sun Fey use LightStone instead of ShadowStone, and that the gun doesn't have tracking, but does more damage and glows for a few seconds.
Finally, there's that spoiler done. Now then, I'll try and condense it for those who just skipped over it; Forest Fey use weapons with vines on them. You can move the vines with your mind. They can also have a Familiar. Oceanic and Waterborn Elves can use swords as well, but one turns water into salt water, and one is made of water. They both can have gourds on their back filled with their respective type of water, for use with magic. They can also have a Familiar. Sun/Shadow Fey can have lightsabers, or guns. The guns fire different types of bullets. Shadow Fey get tracking, and Sun Fey make their enemies glow in the dark. The can also have a Familiar. Choose only one Weapon, and no choosing a Weapon that doesn't belong to your class. I think that was good enough. Now you understand the Weapons and Classes (Hopefully) and I only took around ten minutes of your life, and two hours of mine. ...I need to get a life. On a note completely unrelated to my nonexistent social life, do note that if you want, you can take the basic shape of this template and build off of it, making new races. I wanna see new races I haven't thought of, and I'd be glad to look over any races of custom design, or to look over templates for races that I hadn't thought of putting in. The more races that can be played, the more variables there will be, and with more variables, comes more fun!
